He slept and never woke up! A true life story.

Dear steemians, today i would love to share a true life story. read and enjoy it.

Someone, somewhere didn’t wake up today.
The day before, he was with family and friends,

They laughed and talked and planned on what to do the following day,
schedule where to visit. Called friends he would go out with. 

Ate delicious meal at night, after meal, watch his favorite TV series and said to himself; “in the nearest future, I would be a famous actor and a renowned singer” He was just sixteen.

He had big ambitions in life,
His dreams is bigger compared to the first four planets
He is very passionate about his future.

He greeted his dad and mom,
his siblings, Nana and little Koko.
He proceeded to his room to sleep.

Lying down on his bed, he was online trying to reply his viber, wechat, facebook and whatsapp messages and wished good night to them all.

But he never knew that it gonna be a goodbye.

Within a few minutes,
His eyelids closed together silently,
And never opened.

Seconds, minutes and hours passed,
His heart stopped beating,
His spirit had left him!
His lifeless body was all there alone!

The night seems unending,
And everywhere was mute.

Morning came over, but he never awoke from his unending slumber.
He was expected to rise early as usual,
There was no move,
After several push and knocks on the door,
No response was heard.

Then the whole house was filled with cries and wails that could make his spirit deaf if he hadn’t gone.

Didn’t he know that he will hangout with his friends?

And the places he planned visiting? 

Didn’t he know he was to wish his Family and
pals a good morning as he kissed them
goodnight?

‘Where on this earth has his spirit gone to?’ screamed a voice,
there was a response,  it wasn’t the answer to the question,
but an echoed voice,

There was no response.

Why was he leaving them so soon? What about the songs? 

What about the acting? 

What about the writing of books?

Ah! He has broken their hearts!

The tender hearts of his ambitions,
Left without achieving any of his numerous ambitions,

He left just like that, without a goodbye kiss. 

Smiles that could easily make an insane man
become sane?

What about that soft voice that could raise all
the dead if it had the power when it was sang
with? 

What about those words that could easily melt
mountains and rocks? 

What about those eyes that shined and sparkled
like stars and could comprehend (the) darkness
when widened? 

What about those smiles that could easily heal wounds and mend the broken bones?
 

Have they all gone?

Gone!

Gone into the thin air! He has gone forever!

Somewhere, Someone didn’t make it to wake up today,
But i did,
And you did.

And we all did.
So my fellow steemians, let us be thankful to God for the gift of life.  

Let us appreciate it by being good and merciful to others.

LET LOVE LEAD!
