Official, Manchester United Recruit Diogo Dalot

Through its official website, Wednesday (6/6/2018), announced it has completed the transfer process of Diogo Dalot from Porto. The 19-year-old defender signed a five-year contract.

"Manchester United is proud to announce the recruitment of Diogo Dalot from FC Porto with a five-year contract and an option to renew next year," the Manchester United statement said.

Diogo Dalot is one of the wonderkid of Portugal. Right-back Portugal national team U-19 was diving debut with senior team FC Porto last season.

Associated with this transfer process, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said: "Diogo is a very talented young defender, he has the qualities to become a great player at this club."

For Diogo, joining Manchester United is a golden opportunity to develop a career. Moreover, has the same citizenship with Jose Mourinho, who also coached FC Porto.
