Introduction
My name is Ebixy Ebi Laffin and I have a page on Facebook where I promote open source applications.
Kodi is a free and open source software media player and entertainment hub that is available on all the major operating systems. It can be used to play almost media file formats. Kodi comes with support for music, movies, photos, Add-ons, web interface, remote controls etc.
It allows users to play and view most videos, music, podcasts, and other digital media files from local and network storage media and the internet.
Targetting and Audience
Interest: Entertainment, Digital media, Movies and Music
Country: Ghana
Ghana has a population in which is very much interested in entertainment; from music to movies sector, there is a booming entertainment industry.
Age: 18 to 60
There is mostly no age barrier when it comes to entertainment. Everyone is involved in it and always looking for ways to manage and synchronize files.
Platform: The ad was promoted to users on PC, Android and iOS. The software is available on many platforms.
Ad message and Call To Action
The ad message included a call to action button of "Send message" for those interested in knowing more about Kodi.

The image was sourced from the official website of Kodi (www.kodi.tv). Its dimension is 810 x 487 and Jpeg format. The ad is compact in view both on mobile and desktop.
Goal / Conversions
There were 257 link clicks and 25 post engagements.
Bidding Strategy and Results
I choose the Cost Per Click (CPC) bidding strategy with the aim of having link clicks and website visits. The bid was set to automatic, meaning Facebook is to deliver the ad at the best possible price/rate.
I spent a total of $15 and it ran for a total of 6 days. The gender results are as follows; Women 27.3% and Men 72.7%

I would probably not include ages in the 50s-60s, as I believe that they can not easily get into new ways of technology but I do not find an issue with that.
