My Steepshot Promotion to Nigerian Youths
Introduction
This is my promotion about @steepshot to Nigerian youths aged 18 - 40. Nigerian youths make up a large portion of the total population and most of them are on social media.
WHAT IS STEEPSHOT?
Steepshot is a platform that rewards people for sharing their lifestyle and experiences.
Steepshot is for anyone who is willing to share their photos and short videos. People of all professions are welcome whether you are a traveller, photographer, doctor, teacher, engineer etc
You get rewarded when your contents are curated (up voted) and you lose value and reward when you are flagged or down voted.
Promotional purposes
Steepshot is new and promising, but it is less popular than Instagram even though steepshot rewards its users.
You get rewarded for what you love doing and what you have been doing for free.
On steepshot you get rewarded for your quality content. The users on Steepshot get to control the censorship, when your content is up voted it becomes more visible and when you are flagged or down voted your content becomes less visible
More people need to be told about the decentralized platform and a country like Nigeria shouldn't be left out, young ones particularly
Permissions
I got permission from @scottcbusiness via Discord, He Social Media Marketer on Steepshot, and he works to reach out to people through Steepshot.
I used a black ink to conceal the identity of other people who i communicate with to protect their privacy
Audience
I promoted the post to Nigerians and particularly youth because they are the most on social media. In order to achieve maximum result and impact, i restricted the audience too the following:
- Potential Reach: 14,000,000 people
- Countries: Nigeria
- Gender: Male and Female
- Age: 18-40
- People who match: Entertainment, Social Media, Instagram and Photography

I reached a total of 10,182 persons with facebook commending my add and giving me a relevance score of 8 out of 10 meaning my post is receiving a positive feedback and costing less than most ads on Facebook

@accro Sorry but I don't see this rule being fulfilled here. A task request is marked as a must here. I could not promote a project even after having permission from the PO due to this rule. What is your say on it? Thanks
You can get a permission from th PO by mail.
The very first rule is
Visibility efforts must be explicitly requested by the project owner and meet their requirements. A link to the respective Utopian Task Request must be provided.Here the keyword is must. Great post @jingis07. I really enjoyed reading through and delighted how you promote steemit a whole new way by concentrating on steepshot which is an amazing frontend app fro steemit. i will personally look at this an option to promoto steemit to the photogenics.
