What is the project about?

SteemMillionaire is a fresh project i have been working in a bid to decentralize things. One of the aims is to to educate people about crypto, blockchain, steem etc in an entertaining way. Presently its a one time game play and a single player game. The game has questions that will teach, entertain and challenge users to learn more about the Steem Blockchain. A player answers a question and moves to the next level and wins more SBD in this case. *Note: The SBD won is just for game purposes and does not mean we will pay players for now. But there is a roadmap.

Technology Stack

Visuals: HTML and CSS for now. I will be updating the feel of the game from time to time
Mechanics: Javascript, PHP

Roadmap

Short Term
  • Redesign the game play
  • Add features where users login with their steemit accounts to play
  • Update the questions from time to time
  • Create a website that will house lots of questions
  • Connect and teach people about the steem blockchain through this
Long Term
  • Host a Live Game Show
  • Pay winners in Steem and SBD

Thank you for your contribution. It looks like most of the code has been copied from https://github.com/jgamblin/44CONQuiz, thus it counts as plagiarism. Owing to that you are banned from Utopian for 15 days.

Your contribution has been evaluated according to Utopian rules and guidelines, as well as a predefined set of questions pertaining to the category.

Thank you for the reply.

First and foremost i will like for you to explain to me what open source means, and secondly the fact that we learn coding alongside others and programming isn't a hidden affair. You comment almost looks like i should invent a code and work with it and still call it open source.

You have your rules, no doubt, but i will love for you assure me that in all you have ever done as a programmer in school, you have used your own codes from start to finish. if you can convince me on that, i will accept this in good faith.

I found an idea worth working on, i did my research and came up with something unique. Thats the beauty of open source and for the fact that these codes will be updated from time to time is also important to note.

Namaste

@hkamal It is true that you learn to code from the Open Source Projects. Thus if you want to build something over and above the existing Code Base what you actually should do is to FORK that repo and start working on the fork, in that way we could have evaluated the work done by you.

Simply copy the code (which everyone does about your point "you have used your own codes from start to finish") and making it your code is not entertained in Utopian. But as I said earlier its very hard to evaluate the work you have done, as all your files are Upload and not direct commits to the repo.

We want you to continue working on the project and then based on the commits we will evaluate the actual work.

@codingdefined i will start afresh with the project. Alright. I actually love the idea a whole lot and i'm ready to put a lot in it. So i will FORK the original code and work from there to add the things i would love to see and integrate it to be STEEM friendly and that way, i hope my commits can be evaluated.

But how do i submit this when i am done, you have placed me under suspension. I will want to continue with this work and i don't want this project to be an abandoned one.

You can start work on the project and after the 15 days you can submit the updated code.
