How many lines of code do u need to run Google's Internet services?
Today I would like to share with u guys something I found on the Internet that is pretty cool.
Let us take a step back and see how many lines of codes 👍
For an average iPhone app, 40000 lines of code is needed to power these. That is quite alot 😅
The original space shuttle has 400000 lines of code. And this was years ago, how far have we come in technological advancement.
One of the very first MMORPG I played when I was a kid. And World of Warcraft has come a long way and now it has millions lines of code. Imagine how hard it is to find bugs or errors 😂.
Ever wondered how many lines of code in your android OS? Well here is your answer. So if your phone hang please be patient, it needs time to read all the codes. Especially there are millions of it.
Next on this list is Facebook. Good old Facebook, not surprising that Facebook uses this much line of code to operate. I wonder how many exploits u can find in the codes 😏.
And finally what u all have been waiting for..... I present to u folks, Google Internet services 🌐
2 billion lines of code.
Now that is a shocker for me. I am a blooming newbie programmer myself but this? I can't imagine how many people worked on this.
Anyways that is it for today I hope u guys enjoy reading this!
