Introduction

I am @frankremmy, a SMM and Content Writer on steem. Promoting Open Source projects across social platforms is what I do best.
I chose to advertise Signal app. Signal is a private messaging software that not only allow users to send and receive end-to-end encrypted messages, more fantastic features it possess are:

• Ability to share any file type among contacts
• Send voice or video calls
• Create group chats
• Much more are yet to be discovered.

With over 100 million users, the software is available on Android, iPhone and Desktop devices.
I chose Twitter as my channel for advertising because it has users who love and care about security and secured tech.

I researched and placed my ad on the handles and keywords of similar projects and secured techs:
Handles: @Skype, @Whatsapp, @instagram, @telegram, @viber, @snapchat, @googleplay, @engadget, @techcrunch, @cnet, @gizmoda, @guardiantech, @wired, @bbctech, @forbestech.
Keywords: apps, #technology, #tech, cybersecurity, technews, #ces, whatsapp, #technews, messages, messenger, #ces2017.

Bidding Strategy

I played with the CPC. At first, I bade $0.01 CPC, increased it to $0.02 4 days later. Lowered it the next day, raised it to $0.03 and finally left it at $0.04.


The campaign started on 15/06/2018 and ended on 24/06/2018.

With the above results, I was able to reach the potential users of the project on Twitter. Also, I recommend it can be advertised in other geolocations, with the right targeting.
