New android application to calculate worth of crypto in fiat - CryptoCalc
CrytoCalc - CryptoCalc is short for crypto currency calculator which is a new android application that is for calculating the amount of Crypto currency to fiat (which is local currency).
Users can select what crypto currency they want to calculate (based on the apps supported cryptos), input the amount of that currency and then can calculate equivalent in their local currency.
Currently the application only supports naira but in the future the application will be updated to support other local currencies.
how the application works.
Upon opening the application, the user is met which a splash screen that shows the application logo and a text after which the main screen is shown where the user sees the exchange rate of sbd , steem and bitcoin to his/her local currency (but the only currency supported is Nigeria Naira (NGN))and then can select from a drop down menu which of the crypto coin he/she wants to calculate, once an amonunt is entered and the calculate button is clicked, the user is shown the approximate price in fiat of the inputted crypto amount.
More currencies will be added as the development process conutinues.

Coins information
Click on the coin you would like to know it's details.
On knowing the details, click the drop down arrow to dismiss the coin details.
Local currency Estimation
- Click from the list of the drop down coins.
- Enter the crypto currency amount you wanted converted and click on the calculate button after which the result will be displayed undeneath the calculate button.
Existing Features:
- Calculation of sbd,steem and bitcoin to Naira which is the local currency for Nigeria.
- Refresh price manually by clicking the refresh button.
- Tap again to go quit functionality upon clicking the back button.
- Showing top five coins as gotten from coinmarket cap api and also changes in the coins based on time frames( 1hr, 24hr, 7days)
- How to use feature.

Roadmap
- Implementation of supports of other currencies.
- Implementation of automatic update of the coins price every 2minutes.
- Implementation of a drop down menu in the splash screen when the user can select his/her default fiat currency and then be upon subsequent usage of the application, that selection would be the dafault of the application.
- Addition of more crypto coins support (currently the application only can calculate sbd,steem and bitcoin)
- Implementation of a settings panel where the user can select his/her top three favorite coin which will be shown as the default in the main screen and other features.
- I am open to suggestions for improvement and correction
