Project Details
Dollar Street is a platform that let you perceive the income statistics of families all around the world in a humanized and realistic way, and it was invented by Anna Rosling Rönnlund at Gapminder. She explains the project in those words: “We want to show how people really live. It seemed natural to use photos as data so people can see for themselves what life looks like on different income levels. Dollar Street lets you visit many, many homes all over the world. Without travelling.” The project is a huge success and contributing its expansion to different languages was a rewarding experience for me.
