Adding "background image" + "audio fade in-out" features in Timber
Components
Timber music player for Android is a very awesome music player that has most features wanted by many music lovers like myself. It's been a while I have been using this music player, but I notice it is still lacking some features that some of its competitors are having.
Proposal
I am proposing that the developer of the Timber music player should add some 2 features like "adding a background image" to the music player, and being able to set the "audio fade in and fade out" while changing, pausing or stopping music.
Mockups / Examples
- Adding a background image
Initially, this is how the music player looks like when you open the music library:
But I suggest it would be better if users can set their preferred background image to the music player like the one below:
Here is a gif that shows how cool it looks when an image is added to the background, and when it is not:
- Setting the audio fade in and out while changing media
Setting how many seconds users want the media be delayed while switching from one media to another, or while pausing and stopping media can be added to the "settings" features in the app.
Here is a picture that shows the best place to add these features:
Benefits
- Adding a background image
Adding a background image to the music player looks very cool, and more personalized. Users can change the look of the music player by just changing the background image, unlike having a static white/black boring background looks.
- Setting the audio fade in and out while changing media
Gradual reduction in volume when music wants to change, pause or stop makes it look more professional than just making it sound as if the app crashes or the phone goes off when music stops.

Your suggestion is not a technical feature that enhances the use of the app. While it is cool to have background images but that does not add value to the app itself. As for fading in and fading out are too trivial to be counted as added value in the technical sense for the project owner.
