Suggest General Improvements and Statistics Section for Vessel - Steem Desktop Wallet

Vessel is a lite wallet for the Steem blockchain. It was established in 2017 and It was announced in 2017/05/20 on steemit.com however it still in beta and needs more work and general improvements. So I decided to set up this topic to talk about several things and add new functions. also I will suggest a new section called Statistics in detail.

Components

In this topic, suggestions will include the following components:

• Menu Bar
• View Label
• Developer Tools
• Statistics

Proposal

I will write in this topic several suggestions and general improvements and things needs to be added as well as things suggested to be removed that will result into improve the user experience.

Menu Bar

as I can see the menu bar is missing Edit label as is very important to allow copy & past and and many other important functions

• Help label needs to add an about section. Unfortunately this does not exist that is very important to know the current version as well as the creator and so on.
• Check for Updates label a check for updates needs to be added to make it easier for any user to check for updates that if exist it will download the newer version and so on it can be started with manual download and just download link As a beginning to facilitate the process. also a popup showing when the app starts will be useful to inform the user instead of manual check that is beside the option that I mention Check for Updates as a sub menu.

Developer Tools

Developer tools can't be in a production mode that's a bad practice or they just missed it. My suggestion is to turn it on development mode only. Therefore, this feature should be removed completely from the next versions of the program according to my suggestions. also it will be okay to just keep developer tools hot keys in production mode.

Statistics (New Section)

Adding a new section and calling it Statistics for example that will add the ability to view a general look on the user account.

• Full upcoming Rewards for user posts/comments and that will be the total of other accounts in case there is more than one account inside vessel wallet. also author share can be based on a minimum 75% payout slice.

• Total Posts for every account or just the total of all accounts.

• Total votes received by other users.

• Content Rewards Graph starting from a specific day and end of a specific day

• Overview for statistics to being seen in USD or any other currency world wide.

• Determine how much rewards is remains.

Benefits

• Abount submenu is very important without it the application looks anonymous! and that isn't good thing also it very useful to get the current info of the application like version or name or type and so on.

• Edit label will be very useful to use a function like copy/past from the menubar as that option is also default in many applications. and the application in our case steem wallet that has values to be copied and filled so my suggest is to add that label as soon as possible.

• Developer Tools isn't good thing to be public for normal user as it can break the application and the user will need to restart it.

• Updates function as well as label and the popup very useful to make it easier to keep the application up to date. If there are security breaches without this option it will be disastrous

• Statistics Section Will be very useful to track accounts rewards as well as the total value and other stuff that is very important to know and make it easier to use the application daily. without the need of 3rd parties applications.
