Suggestion To Add Star Button And Forward Button To Yaxim Messenger Application

Introduction

yaxim (Yet Another XMPP Instant Messenger) is an XMPP client with a clean user interface and open source (GPLv2). yaxim aims at security, low overhead and keeping your server connection open. This is a wonderful messenger application that make it fun and easy to exchange Information and ideas. But it currently have some features missing, like been able to highlight, forward and starred a long message.

Reasons For Suggestion

As currently it is quite impossible to highlight a text so as to be able to save and forward important message on yaxim messenger because the app does not have the feature. The absence of this feature make it a little bit difficult to save a text message so as to be able to read it some other time. Because after chatting for a very long time, a text that contain valid information may become a little bit difficult to locate. Due to the fact that, you will have to keep scrolling upward before been able to access the text messages. This happen to be a bad practice for a messenger application, then the thought to make this suggestion come into place.

Conclusion

Having this kind of features installed on yaxim messenger application, will make it possible to forward any text messages to any other person and also this will also make it easy to access and saved message without having to scroll upward to retrieve message that contain vital information.
