On my side, a bug seems to persist with the language configuration.
Testcase :
Currently in Chile, Steemit was set up in spanish automatically (it has probably been developped to set the browser language as the main language).
Changed it to English/French several times but after a few clicks around the site, it goes back to Spanish (as well set up as spanish in the configuration panel)

Tried both in private nagitation and normal navigation, in case this has to do with cookies but both testcases reswitch it to Spanish.
