Tutorial on how to create a post and add beneficiary on chainbb.com

Chainbb.com provides a creditable alternative to steemit.com. It is bulit on the Steem blockchain and gives you the opportunity to view the blockchain ftom a forum perspective.

The tutorial is going to be on how to add a beneficiary.

Firstly you need to log in with your username and posting key and this is what you have below:

In the screenshot above the different forum are shown, these forums are arranged alphabetically. To create a post you need to choose a forum that is related to your intended post or you could create a forum with 10 Steem.

For this tutorial we are going to create a post from an existing forum. So we choose a forum as shown below:

We click on the forum above, this will take us to a new page then we click on the green post tab as shown below:

This will take you to another page where you are going to see the following:

In the screenshot above the post tab is highlighted and the following components are numbered:

1: Post title

2: Post button:- Use this when you are through with preview and you are satisfied with what you are about to diseminate.

3: Preview button:- Click on this to have a preview of the post or blog.

4: Cancel and delete draft button:- This should be used when you changed your mind and want to discard the post. Post are saved automatically.

5: Post body.

When you click on the preview button it will take you to another page as shown below:

Next up is to add the tags by clicking on the tab as shown below

This will take you to the tag page where you are going to input the tags individually as shown below:

In the screenshot above the following are labelled as follows:

A: The main tag or cartegory.

B: Box for adding additional tags. You can add up to four additional tags.

C: Add tag button:- You add each tag individually.

D: Tag counter.

E: Forum.

F: Namespace.

After adding the required tags next is to click on the reward tab as shown below:

This will take you to another page where you are going to this below:

In the screenshot above the following are numbered:

1: The reward method:- This at 50%/50% default, other options are 100%SP and decline pay out.

2: Add beneficiary button:- When you click on this it will take you to another page which is shown below:

In the screenshot above the following are labelled:

A: Account name of the beneficiary.

B: Percentage to be shared with the author. Maximum is 100%.

C: Add account button:- This used to add the beneficiary eventually.

D: Cancel button: This is used in case you changed your mind.

After adding your beneficiary then you click on the post button and you are good to go.

Additional information on rewards

Author receives 60% eventually, 25% goes to the curators, 14% to chainbb.com and 1% to the forum.
