Introduction
I am @arewa on steemit and here is the link to my FACEBOOK PROFILE and link to my FACEBOOK PAGE which i use for promoting open source projects.
I promote interesting and quality open source projects on my facebook account.
I would love to use this medium to write about my promotion of the first music oriented open source project built on the Steem Blockchain.
Dsound
Why I Chose To Promote Dsound
- To get this wonderful project to Steemians in Nigeria and Non-Steemians in Nigeria who love music.
- To help singers get rewarded for their efforts in producing good music and music lovers also rewarded for listening to their favorite songs.
- To get the attention of music Lovers in Nigeria to join the Steemit community and use Dsound.
- To help expand users of this great project.
Audience
The promotion is targeted to over 10,000,000 Nigerians in Lagos, Oyo, Ousn, Kaduna, FCT, Ogun which are the major states with high population density in Nigeria.
audience with age group 18-65 with music as main interest were targeted by this promotion
Activity
I chose Facebook to publicize this platform using my FACEBOOK PAGE to promote Dsound and this Facebook Post was boosted to reach more Nigerians, with this POST explaining in details what Dsound is and benefits of using it. A total of #900 Naira ($3) was used from a budget of #3000 Naira ($8) to boost the post efficiently to over 1000 Nigerians.

The promotion reached over 1,031 people, with over 400 likes and engagements as a the time am writing this report with 6 hours left on the promotion before completion.

Thank you for the contribution. It has been approved.
but @arewa you have to put in your mind that this category and utopian in general is for rewarding/helping people for the hard work and their contribution to the open source community and to the world so a minimum 1000 reach doesn't mean oh i have to stop now i can get the reward now .... do what you love and love what you do ;)
