I was able to reproduce the bug on my device.
Please note that the bug is that the application doesn't show files stored on the SD. The demonstration you provided was pretty complicated to show that. You could've just wrote: "Any files not in the root directory of the storage won't be displayed". With the way you described it and the video you provided I had hard time following your instructions.
