Selected apps cant be viewed in favourite option after been chosen as favourite

Expected behavior
When app are been selected as favourite, it should also be indicated in favourites, when option is been selected.
Actual behavior
After making necessary selection of favourite apps, it cant be reviewed in the favourite option in the menu bar.
How to reproduce
Download app.
Click on the menu bar. Then select installed apps.
Click on any app. Then at the top right corner click on the star option to add app to favourite list.
Then return to the menu option, click on favourites. Apps selected as favourites wont be visible.
Device: Tecno wx3pro
App version: 1.0.4.1
Operating system: Android Nougat 7.0

Can you please check to make sure this is correct repository though if you could send me the download link for the application I will be able to confirm I think. The reason I ask is that the application version in the repository doesn't correlate with the application version provided within this contribution.
