RE: Time To Get a Credit Card!
I test between INTJ and INFJ at times. Intuitives make up 25% of the population and they are much more likely than sensors to be drawn to the Blockchain because they are interested in the abstract and what is possible not the concrete. Then introverts are the type to read and learn more because of their solitude therefore they would understand this space more than extroverts. From there I think the INTPs would be the coders because it's so technical and the visionaries of what is possible INTJs and INFJs because of their dominant introverted intuition which is also very rare. I also reckon INFPs would be the artists or musicians on the Blockchain.
Interesting, albeit not surprising. I've seen it happen with others too. I took the test three years in a row, and it was the same result every time for me. Maybe you're on some kind of thinker/feeler "cusp" lol. (I would say that's a really good attribute. No doubt you are highly intuitive.)
This makes a lot of sense.
Yeah that makes a lot of sense too. The dominant intuitive introversion for me is best put to use for meticulous planning, and art. I have dabbled in Linux and some basic programming, but I always get distracted with my wandering interests. Sometimes I just sit and think and can do little else. (Which I guess would be more in line with INTJ, but I always get the F)
Definitely! INFJ's might also fall into this category as well. I play guitar, sing, and enjoy many forms of art. (recent examples may be found on my blog.)
I've always felt the only way we'll get mass adoption with this tech, is through simplifying. Most people seem to be pretty extroverted, and not willing to take the time to learn intricate things. We live in a instant gratification world, no doubt about it.
An example of a simple app that I think has the right idea is Appix. Very easy to use. An extroverted instagrammers dream.
I like to remind myself that we're all unique, and these are not perfect tests. I enjoy psychology and philosophy, but I am probably more philosophical.
I enjoyed absorbing your very nice comment. Thank you!
I just did the test again and got INTJ again but the T was very close to the F. I have tried cogniitive function tests and always test in between.
I agree with you that INFJs are also artistic. You can see from my blog that I post mostly art and I also play the guitar. Since you're an INFJ your secondary function would be extroverted feeling and having an artistic expressive outlet that also helps the world would fulfill both your dominant introverted intuition and secondary function extroverted feeling.
However, I also see myself having extroverted thinking as my secondary function which is about putting ideas into a concrete plan into the real world. They say your third function develops in your 20s so that might be why I'm drawn to both extroverted feeling and extroverted thinking since it's not settled yet. Either that or you can have multiple cognitive functions of different strengths.
I have also dabbled in programming but find it too technical that's why I think its perfect for INTPs that have introverted thinking as their dominant function.
I agree, that for mass adoption this all needs to be made very simple and easy for the average user. The tech is too confusing for them at the moment but most people don't understand how the internet functions either.
I see people that cling to their MBTI personality too much. It was based of Carl Jung's philosophy and find it interesting but think personality is still much more than that. I just find MBTI and interesting indicator. The big five test which is also popular, I would say openness to experience has a high correlation with intuition.
Thanks for your comment, it's good to see like minded people on here!
