US stock futures climbed Tuesday, as optimism over first-quarter earnings once again set the tone. Yesterday the Dow briefly topped its 50-day moving average with a +0.87% gain, as a flurry of corporate results pushed out fears over Middle East tensions. An upbeat attitude toward first-quarter earnings is expected to remain a driving factor for stocks Tuesday.

Other firms reporting earnings after market close include CSX Corp, IBM and United Continental.
