Donald Trump Jr. Blasphemed After Critic of London Mayor
The eldest son of President of the United States Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., wrote on Twitter criticizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan when a terror attack still overshadowed the City of London.
Trump said, "Are you kidding?" London Mayor Sadiq Khan said the terror attacks were part of life in a big city. " He wrote it down while posting an independent news link that was published in September 2016.
As reported by Time, Thursday, (23/3), Trump apparently only quotes old news that has nothing to do with terror attacks outside the parliament building in London. Khan's statement in the article was a response to a bomb incident in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. Trump Jr.'s judgment is not correct because Khan does not say terrorism is part of everyday life in big cities. Khan said readiness is part of life in a big city.
According to him, being alert, having a police-related community means that security services are in a ready state. But it also means exchanging ideas and doing best practices
"Nothing is more important for me to keep Londoners safe, I want to make sure every agent and individual involved in maintaining our city has the resources and expertise they need to respond to attacks in London," Khan said.
A number of British citizens are angry with Trump's way of cornering the mayor of London. They replied to Trump's Twitter that he considered annoying.
"You are using a terrorist attack in our city to attack the Mayor of London for your political interests, you are a shame," British lawmaker West Streeting said on Twitter.
Ciaran Jenkins on Twitter replied to Trump by saying, "Did your words help @ DonaldJTrumpJr? Have you read the article before blaming the London Mayor?" Tom Coates on Twitter replied to Trump by saying, "Khan is right, terrorism really happens, we fight them, but we do not overreact or let terrorists change our lifestyle."
The New York Times is trying to get Trump's comment on that. But via email he said, he will not comment for every cicitan he wrote through Twitter.
