I didn't immediately think of serial killer stories when I saw the "urban legend" prompt, but it looks like others took it in that direction. Not that they're wrong; it just looks like some of us took it in a different direction than others. The first thing I thought about, for example, were the mole-people who supposedly live in the sewer system of New York and other major cities… paranormal, but not murderous.
