urban exploring in Europe #1: Krakau
While travelling through Poland last summer, we went to visit the beautiful city of Krakau. We were wondering out of the center to a hill with a good view, from where we saw this old mine.
It was very difficult to find a way down into the mine, but eventually we made it and we are glad we did! The remaining parts of the equipment are still there, but it will not be long before nature takes it back.
Also it seems like a road was made using tombstones.. a bit macabre sight.. It made us wonder what happened here.
