So What's Whalenation about?

The basic idea behind the concept 'whalenation' is supporting minnows as they grow on steemit.

Today, there are hundreds of steemit discord servers where people dump links expecting miracle upvotes from a 'big whale' (well sometimes it happens), but this method has proven to be very ineffective. Also the method of begging for upvotes from other steemians has also been found to be less effective because most people don't like being bothered with loads of links.

Thus, we decided to create a community that can guarantee rewards for growing minnows.

So how do we intend to do this?

There are many ways by which this goal can be achieved but for now we will capitalize only on the power of steem power and rental. Fortunately our major sponsor @neoxian has agreed to rent some steem power to us at the rate of 1 steem for 115 steem power (he can confirm this).

We are looking at starting with at least 8,000 SP that way our 100% upvote will worth at least 1$ or even more when the voting power is at it's fullest.

So how do we intend to achieve 8,000SP?

We will employ the use of crowdfunding - that is, members of this community who are interested in what this community stands for will contribute both steem and delegated steem power to the community's steemit account (steemit.com/@whalenation).

Members who are going to make contribution can be sure of the security of their funds because once we start contribution our private keys will be handed over to our sponsor until the funds in the account have been used for it's purpose.

So we are appealing to well meaning whales to join our train and help this project become a reality.
