Hi Everyone, Since @honoru’s Michael and Tiffany and leaving for Germany for two weeks, there will be no workshops until the 10th Nov. However, Michael sent me a bunch of messages giving us some updates on their progress.

Last week, they have finished interviewed and decided to hire two interns for the project, one animator and one programmer that would help them through to the end of December. The idea is that towards December, the students are getting busy for their academic commitments, and so it would be better to have more people on board to help with the project. The two interns current studying in University, and they are keen to lend a helping hand while gaining more experience for their future careers.

In the next two workshops, which are scheduled on 10th November and 17th November, our students will work together to improve and perfect the game that was uploaded on Google Play last week, and at the same time work out the designs and the specifics of the next versions of the game. Currently, two versions are in the pipeline. The first version would be a creative edition for available on Google Play and IOS App store, where people can download and create their own word game or puzzle game. The second version would be an implementation of the word game in html5 version to be uploaded onto Steemgg. Once the designs and specifics are finalised, these will be passed onto the two interns who will work on the actual implementation. Hopefully the games will be completed in December.

Michael also mentioned that towards the end of November, iCare will be organising a retreat in Guangzhou for the students and their families, to relax a bit, but also to debrief and feedback on what they have learn and how to move forward. One possibility they are looking into in animation, as making animation gives the SEN students the opportunities to express themselves, while expanding their reach to not just games, but also cartoons and short films.

大家好！因为@honoru 米高夫妇十月底要去德国两星期，与别不同工作坊将会休息至十一月十号。不过米高发了连串的语音给我，告诉了我他们的最新消息。

上星期他们刚刚面试了两个大学生，准备聘请他们做实习生。这是因为十二月份对学童们来说还是比较忙的，特别是考试和测验。所以请两个实习生来帮一下忙。这两个实习生一个负责动画制作，一个负责写代码。他们也希望在帮助学童同时，可以得到对他们将来职业有帮助的经验和技能。

在未来的两个课堂(十一月十日和十一月十七日)，与别不同团队的学童们将会致力把上次已上架Google Play的游戏进行改良，并且为游戏的下个版本进行设计和策划。现在为止最主要是两个构思，第一个是会上架Goggle Play和IOS App Store的创造者版本，可以让玩家自己创造文字或拼图游戏。而第二个构思是会上架Steemgg的html5版本文字游戏。学童们会把这两个版本的设计和策划在十一月底前做好，然后会交给两位实习生实作，争取十二月上架。

另外，iCare会在十一月底为学童和家长们在广州举办一次静修会，除了为了休息以外也准备让大家研讨和回馈在这次活动学习到的经验和技能，并且为学童们下一步作出准备。其中一个方案是让学童们学习动画制作，因为动画一方面让这些SEN学童们可以更好的表达心里的想法，另一方面让他们有更多的选择，不一定局限在游戏方面，还可以尝试一下卡通，短片等。
