Bitcoin Interest Developer Update 1/19/2018
We are pleased to announce we are on track to meet the January 22nd fork date. All seeding servers are set up, the source code is finalized, and releases are being published. Wallet downloads will soon be available on the official website.

The blockchain has been parsed into the database for block exploring, and the platform framework has been completed. Registering might be available after this weekend.

With the approaching January 22nd fork date here’s what will happen:
We will be in a two-week difficulty calculation adjustment period, this is native to bitcoin and is required to get the correct difficulty to ensure network stability. Once this is done, we will have the network completely live along with the platform shortly after. Depending on how these two weeks go, we may enable interest staking right away, or shortly after the two-week difficulty recalculation.

We are testing the following Equihash mining software:

  1. ccminer: compatible with most graphic cards on Windows and Linux.
  2. EWBF Miner: compatible with NVidia graphics cards on Windows and Linux.
  3. Claymore’s AMD Miner: compatible with AMD cards on Windows.
  4. Optiminer: compatible with AMD cards on Linux.

A guide on how to mine Bitcoin Interest will be released shortly.
