A Prayer When Your So Down

When I'm in pain, help me Lord, not by taking the pain but by giving me more strength to bare it, for I know it will make me stronger. For I fully understand You will not give me problems more than I can bare.

When all my plans fail, please remind me that You have greater plans for me and make me understand that You only want the best for me. For as a father, You our All Mighty Father only wish the best for Your children, and I am one of them.

At desperate times, when all seems so vague and nothing seems right, please bare with me when I question You and Your plans for me. Forgive me oh God for I am only human, I often get lost especially when troubled.

I only ask that You stay by me at all times to guide and show me the right path to take. There were times that I may chose to go the wrong way just because it's easier for me. Please put me back to the right direction even if it means hurting me, for I trust Your judgement more than mine.

When confuse and don't know what to do, please lead the way so that I may find myself walking towards you, and following Your footsteps. Help me realize that all the answer to my questions is with You. And Your answers to my questions are better than my conclusions.

When I'm down and I don't know when to get up, please Lord let me hold your hand, I also beg that You hold mine too. For I know Your grip is much stronger than mine. I won't ask to lighten up my burden, all I ask is for more strength so I may overcome all my worries and fears.
