First Figma Meetup in Nigeria

Yesterday was remarkable and interesting. As usual@brindocorp it is part of our culture to participate in community building in which we do by attending events in and outside our zone. So yesterday FigmaNG Meetup wasn't left out.

So Dylan Field came to Nigeria for the first time having spent about a week in the country, he was present to support the fast-growing community of Figma designers. One remarkable thing I love about this young CEO is his genuine smile and self-confidence. I must say he his down to earth. He is very humble and passionate about problem-solving, hardly will you know his company Worth's over $40million.

This is the first-ever event in Nigeria I attended in which I was able to meet more designers than developers. Even at brindocorp we have 1 designer to 4 developers, which really shows the design community is growing alongside the developers' community.

Amazing talks were given out by different and awesome speakers. Also not forgetting the organizer of the Meetup, Mr Nonso, he is a brilliant designer. So to end this article I must say Nigeria is evolving to become the best tech country in Africa. Although other African countries are growing remarkably alright. We have vibrant and versatile youths still trying to make a change even in a failed government.
