How did you use your first pay out in steemit? BlESSED TO BE A BLESSING

My father always tell me, If your'e going to help, do it willingly without expecting in return, and truthfully, it feels great to help even with simple things.

For me the purpose of life is to be useful and to have it make some difference in that you have lived and lived well. I also believed that the purpose of human life is to serve and to show compassion and the WILL TO HELP OTHERS

We are our brother's keeper as we need to look out for this less fortunate than us and I would like to tell our story of one saturday where we did our best to do that.

When I recieved my first pay out in steemit. I used it as fund for our first outreach program with my student leaders in STEEMIT ACADEMY LAGUNA CHAPTER.

This day is very memorable, because at last, we conducted our first outreach program @ BARANGGAY ANOS LOS BAÑOS LAGUNA. We reach out 20 unpriveledged children. We provide hot meals, juice ,donuts, and candies for them to be happy.

One of the objectives of "Steemit Academy Laguna Chapter" is to help the youths who need guidance and assistance. In fact, one of our projects is for the use of my first Steemit payout to fund a feeding program for unpriveledged children. We also conducted story-telling and games. This is our simple way of giving hope and motivating the street children to pursue their goals.

We prepared some food, candies and other goodies for children.

Steemit is a wonderful avenue not just to earn money througj blogging, but also to help others who are in needs.

(PREPARING OF FOODS)

My student leaders prepared some foods for the street children. They bought it on a market using the first pay out in steemit. They were enjoyed!

Edenz Dalanon, one of my student leaders cooked meals for the children. He told me that he really wanted to help the unpriveledged children because he loves children.

(IT'S PLAY TIME...WITH STUDENT LEADERS)

We played Balloon relay with the kids as this is a fun and simple game. The objectives of this game is to :
*each person has his or her own pace but working as a team

*they move to win as one

Im so happy to see them working as a team, just like my leading students, they are work as one, sharing and giving ideas for the betterment of the group and most of all they have unity.

We also work with younger children to create an interest for education. We put in their minds that no matter what life may bring, there is always hope. This gives them the hope of a bright future.

(STORY TELLING)

One of our missions is to give a story of hope for the unpriveledged children. We want them to be inspired in the story.
We told the story"DAVID AND GOLIATH" that all it takes is one man who believes he can change the world no matter if he is small. It is the belief of David's that if they believe in themselves they can be the start of the change.

These 10 student leaders are David's who will make a difference using Steemit to help other people.

Some of my student leaders gave time to collect some clothes to their family and donated it to the children.

And finally... It's feeding time. Our group wants to eradicate hunger, and I think this is the highlights of this activity.

Now I realize the true meaning and value of Steemit. While you can't buy happiness, you can experience this from having new friends, advisors, and most of all, family.

You can't beat the joy of seeing the kids that we have helped because we know it has made a mark in their hearts and minds.

Because of this project, our members became even more excited to share the importance and value of Steemit. Our student leaders felt more empowered and eager to help others instead of using steemit only for personal gain.

They say when you help others you shouldn't say anything, but I decided to blog it anyway to inspire others to help using Steemit. Let's help our youth, because they are the next generation. Let's think of ways to help others, even with simple things. Who knows, perhaps these little things might have a bigger impact in their lives.

What we learned from this outreach program is, If you're helping someone and expecting something in return, you're doing business not kindness. Never stop doing little things for others. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts.
