My entry into the #untalented-singsong contest by @surpassinggoogle
I can't sing, I don't sing, I barely sing...but I have decided to embarrass myself here simply because I want to do my best song, lol. I hope you guys like it...
"Unforgetable" is a song by French Montana featuring Swae Lee. In the early days of 2018(you could check my blog) I made a rundown of my best 10 songs for 2017 were "Unforgettable" topped the chart.
UNFORGETTABLE BY FRENCH MONTANA FT SWAE LEE
The remixed version of Unforgettable comes with an emotional backstory from Montana in one of his Instagram post, in which he describes his family's immigration from Morocco to America, with a picture from his parents' wedding day in Africa.
According to Montana he couldn't speak English. Moving from Morocco to the US wasn't was he thought it would be even though he admitted Morocco was tougher. life was hard for his parents but he promised his mum to make unforgettable thing in future.
French Montana goes further to tell why the song was shot in Uganda;
That one day, while surfing the youtube, he came across some young African children dancing happily eventhough they were almost clothed in rags and living in the slum. He pondered on what made them so happy. He told himself , he was going to search out the kids in Uganda. The love and compassion he had for the poor children mde him shoot the video in Uganda.
Unforgettable is simply a song dedicated to French Montana's mum for raising him up despite the obstacles she encountered.
WHY I CHOOSE THE SONG
The first time I heard this song, to be very frank I hated it, it didn't make any sense to me. I was really down one night in Manchester, laying on the bed when a radio station rolled out the song. This time i took time to listen to the lyrics and felt the rhythm. After it finished playing, I felt good. Ever since, I could barely pass a day without some dose of this melodious music.
This song motivate and inspires me to do unforgettable things. listen to it make s me feel like I'm limitless! I must confess I've never been addicted to a song as this before.
It gladdens my heart to be doing this song to steemians. Trust me I have earn some confidence and trust in me that:
- I can sing
- I believe in me
3 I can do unforgettable things - obstacles are steeping stones to gretness
- We all have to be Grateful for the blessing of life

I've always been a shy girl right from the womb mama will always say this. Somewhere deep down in me is this burning love of God which tell me that I can rise above shyness, but my mind and my little self have always been my greatest barrier and obstacles. I'm 100% atelophobic! i'm scared, timid, afraid to always do great things. your #untalented-singsong contest was a wake up call to me @surpassinggoogle...I almost died doing this thing you see, it wasn't easy to come by. Fear is truly a monster. How did I com about this?, I told my boss i'd like to sing a song for a contest. he laughed knowing fully well that i can never do it...after much conviction by my lil sister, i went to my boss's studio i tried something out. I'm glad people like it. thank you so much @surpassinggoogle for this one. YOU'RE UNFORGETTABLE!

I think "I can't sing" is an understatement and after hearing your voice, I can say that this is a very, very, absolutely, total understatement! You can be a recording artist with your voice Asari! The video looks is certainly an MTV caliber one
