## Pre-steemed Life I just realized that my life was pretty messed up before steemit came through..

As a first child in a family of four (4), my dreams and prayer has always been to be financially independent. My parents are not really wealthy therefore it was difficult to remain comfortable as a dependent child.

*I hardly stayed around people for long, I'm a music lover (I'm a pianist and basist) so I spent most of my time making music 🎶 with my keyboard 🎹 or with my books (friends say I'm a bookworm)..

Adjustments since I joined steemit

Financial Adjustments

Seven days after I joined steemit I got my first cashout, i actually didn't know how to go about it but with the help of my friend, I sold it and got stable for a long time..

My parent were surprised at how I could stay in school for close to 2 months without asking for money.. They got worried but we're more surprised when I told them I was okay and I didn't need any money at the moment.

Social Adjustments

Since joining the steemit blockchain, I've been constantly keeping in touch with fellow steemians through discord and whatsapp groups

I'm a member of discord groups like #air-clinic #steemgigs #stach And many more groups on discord.

My social life has taken a complete turn around. I now enjoy the company of others mostly steemians or intended steemians because if I'm not discussing about it with you, I feel like I'm wasting precious time.

I want to use this medium to thank @ejemai the CEO of @stach for his generosity to the @steemit-uyo community by providing us with a hub where we can get more acquainted with ourselves..
