I was introduced to steemit by @samstickkz and I will forever remain grateful to God for making me meet the wonderful young man. Thank you Mr Sam.

I have been on steemit long enough to admit this life changing opportunity has romanced the boy with some goody touch. I think I am the most fortunate of the newbies who came in same time as I. This is not so because I have realized a whole lot of money since I came in, in fact I have been away for a while therefore there is no much sbd or steem to my name. LOL

So why does he claim to be the most fortunate?

Well,I am most lucky to have found out the very essence of this beautiful community. Steemit has in no doubt been a life changing privilege to a lot of us who are actively engaging in the community. There's practically no content reward system as this. I have recruited a good number of friends since I came on board and gladly they all have shared their testimonies too. It feels really good.

But there is a lot more to steemit than the money; this realization is the reason I consider myself the most lucky.

Quick Introduction

I have not done a proper introduction so hey! permit me, and trust me this is necessary right now otherwise I would not bore you up by bringing it up at all.

I am Fortune, I am a rapper by birth(lol), I studied mass communication in the Akwa Ibom State university of Nigeria but I am all about music and I started out well on my career when I recorded my first song early 2010. I did the song for a national competition that won me a level of popularity within my locality. By the way, my music brand is "Forjay" and that name is almost non-existent untill steemit happened.

Amazing Adjustments since steemit

The most significant of all improvements and adjustments upon my life since I joined steemit centers around my music career.

By the way, my music brand is "Forjay" and that name is almost non-existent until steemit happened.

At a point in my life , plans went a different direction and things got tough. Music business in Nigeria requires a lot of funding to get you up there and unfortunately for me, the silver spoon I was supposed to come to earth with got stolen in the hospital where I was delivered.

So boy needed to double up the hustle, to feed, take care of school needs and other necessary stuffs. Everything I tried out proved abortive and things got even more rumpled. Music was not paying off rather it sucked the little I never got so I was getting fade up by every single day...The passion kept me pushing and pushing the hustle hoping it would some day deliver.

Breakthrough killed my music career, steemit revived it.

The hustle started paying off but music was far from the scene. I almost totally gave up on my passion cos I was already living bigger than I ever thought I would within such a short period of time, gradually my time at the studio became limited,to a point I never had any need to go to the studio cos I thought I had matters on hand to engross my attention.

But there is a lot more to steemit than the money; this realization is the reason I consider myself the most lucky.

I am sure some people can relate from this point. My steemit blogs mostly promote my music free of charge and even reward me for it. My lost fan base is back and better and still growing. I love steemit.

Social adjustments

Steemit is not a make me rich quick scheme neither is it a ponzi platform. This is a social media just as facebook and the rest of them. So we are meant to interact and make friends as much as we can. My circle of friends however has really changed positively since I came on board. I am tempted to say that there are greater minds on steemit than anywhere else on the internet and these amazing people are ever ready to carry just anyone along. I have met awesome people hereon and I am sure if you get to meet them you would know just how awesome these guys are.

Giving cheerfully is another big adjustment in my life since steemit.

We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.
