Amazing Adjustments that have happened to my life since i found Steemit

I can't completely start this without saying a big Thank you to @surpassinggoogle for your encouragement and generosity through contests like this very one.
To be honest, I've never taught I'll be able to express myself and make really interesting write -ups like I find myself doing on steemit blockchain.

I got registered in the steemit blockchain precisely on October 25th, and I must say I knew very little about what I was getting into like the fact that I'll get paid for just making posts.

I got interested because I believed it won't be anything new to me since I've been a regular facebook user who makes posts and gets likes from other users.
I'm still grateful to @ishotz for putting me through on this, he is the real MVP 🙌

Adjustments that have happened in my life since i found steemit

I've had adjustments in most aspects of my life, I'll list them below

1. Academically
2. Socially
3. Financially

Acedemical Adjustments
As a mechanical engineering student, I've gone through most of my school days till now being a book worm without having time for any books outside my field of study with the excuse that I need to cover as much as I am assigned to if I need to succeed.
The steemit blockchain has shown me that there's more to life than just education, I've realized that the richest and most influential men on earth are the so-called uneducated..
Therefore, I had to make time for other activities like telling friends about steemit and how much help it could provide to the struggling student..

Social Adjustments
I started my life as the only male child among 4 children so I grew up being on my own most of the time..
I played lone games, I made jokes for myself and talked to myself if I had to because I believed that talking to a girl about your problems shows your weakness..
Since I joined the steemit blockchain, I've been directed and obliged to see things differently in that aspect because most of the fellow steemians in my community are ladies and in order to grow, I need them .
Shout out to @annieben @xpressng @Elizabethscarlet @teaser1 @allisonudeme y'all are family now

Financial Adjustments
I've been able to stay independent of my parents cash for a long time..that's every students dream.. I'm happy I made it to this community...
I've been able to stay away from gambling of different sorts and I've been able to use money wisely.

In addition to all this mentioned above I can't leave out the fact that I've had my best holiday due to the people I've met on the steemit blockchain..

From the steemit meet up where I met the boss and CEO of @stach @ejemai

He practically sat us down and gave us advice on how to make it in the community.
His story inspired me and I believe that has given me the drive to stay till now in this community.

Contests
As a guy, I know how difficult it is to find a group of people or person that'll just give you money for doing things that are not stressful atall.
In this community, I've realized that giving is a daily activity because they are so many contests and challenges available for participation..
The amazing thing about it is that even those who don't come out as winners of the contests still get to keep some compensation price.

This aspect is the most amazing, the way fellow steemians have stood up for me whenever I need then has made me shed tears of joy

At a time when we got robbed and my sister was shot..

I just tried to get it off my mind by making a post about it here
The level of sympathy I got was more than I ever anticipated some people even called...
that takes me to the slogan that says

come for the cash, stay for the friends

In the same spirit of giving, I've been able to introduce friends to the community

I want to thank @ewuoso @samstickkz for always being there to guide me right from when I was a newbie till date... Y'all have been amazing.
