RE: Does Your Mind Create The Universe? | Answers With Joe

This is an old story, indeed. Idelism vs Realism. From that point of view, I think it will never have a definitive answer. On the other hand, as you said, it has a more scientific approach these days, specially since the discovery of the observer-effect. I think these Interpretations of quantum mechanics are giving some problems to actual scientists and some people are spreading "curious ideas" mainstream from that. I agree that Biocentrism isn't enough to justify the existence of Universe because other kinds of consciences and life could potentially arise, like the AI. But we can point out that it's "meaning" and not "existence" what mostly depends on a conscious entity, although there are lots of things whose existence depends on a brain-activity-like. For instance, there are no colors out there. Only light exists physically, instead. Colors are just interpretations of the brain and wouldn't exist if there were not a sofisticated system that could perceive light and eventually transform it into that feeling, a sensitive experience.

Interesting topic. By the way, talking about "existence", I invite you to learn and use our official webapp steemstem.io, a Steem client to promote high quality content in this blockchain.
