Rare Durian Typical Linga
There is a type of durian that can be practically rare in Daik Lingga District namely Durian Hutan aka leaf durian. Durian forest (leaf) is rarely found in other provinces, but is fertile in Daik Lingga, Riau Islands Province (Kperi).
Durian season is always ade every year in Lingga, is the annual season no wonder many people who like the phallus durian hobby. In this regency there are two types of durian namely Durian Hutan aka leaf durian and there is also a regular durian.
"Durian forest is the longest and the first known durian in Lingga," said Atan (40), one of the residents in the community, because the price is quite expensive and not easy to obtain, Kampung Tengah.
To get this type of durian, it must be a long way up to the cerok merok (into the forest). "If eating this durian feels full for the hungry and will not be hungry if you eat it," he said.
Currently in Lingga is durian season, but durian forest also live thrives along durian in general.
