Most people engage in war to defend their position when confronted by others. The defenses goes up and our capacity to really 'hear' what others are saying is significantly diminished.

Very true. A lot of people don't engage to know, they do so to hear echos of their thoughts. If we engage with an open mind in conversations, this World will definitely be better off
