What camera you have? I only have a gopro hero 3 but i would love to upgrade for a reflex with a nice housing and flashes to get better close ups and colours :)
Unfortunately, I went the really, really cheap route and bought an off brand action style camera. It is giving me issues with heating up and not recording when I think it is. I am definitely considering upgrading to an actual gopro before my trip.

If you're in the US you can search through craigslist for a second hand gopro or maybe even a better camera... i spent less than 3 months there and bought a nice nikon d90 and a mini van on that site... really cheap and you can be surprised by what you find! :)
