Imagine how it feels to hear voice when nobody is around

hello all beautiful minds out there i am going say something about one of the symptom of mental illness which is somehow difficult to acknowledge by us called as - Auditory hallucination.

Imagine you are all alone in a home and somebody is saying things to you or forced you to do things, the voices may be known or unknown. How it will feel.

It is difficult for us to acknowledge it. but for a person to hear it constantly it is scary.
For example one of my patient hear all the time " hey Mr. X we are planing to remove your heart and brain but you will not die as we don't want you to die. we want you to suffer, slowly. oh you wake up now let us remove your skin and spry some chilly over it we will not allow you to sleep"
Hearing it all the time since last 5 years then wanted to kill himself to get rid of these voice.
It is very common in mental illness mainly in a condition called schizophrenia

I just want to give a brief idea about only one symptom of mental illness.
we all don't give much important to this as we cannot understand the suffering of mentally ill person.
How scary it can be which cannot be remove by any surgery or cannot be detected by any test.
How painful it can get with time if other symptoms which generally follows .
