Travel Korea -Jeonju

 Do you want to go somewhere that you can see '한옥/Hanok(Korean-style house)'
and have '한정식/Hanjeongsik' ?
There is a good city for it.  It's 전주(Jeon-Ju)

 HOW TO GET THERE?
SEOUL → JEONJU

KTX : 34,600won (1 hour 36 minutes)
BUS : 12,800won(2hour 40minutes and Rates vary depending on departure terminal)  

 but funny thing is we couldn't use KTX because we were so lazy, anyways it takes more than 3 hours if you choose the train! 

 WHERE TO SLEEP?
there are many hotels and motels but we chose [게스트하우스 전주아이/guesthouse jeonju I]
4people room 70,000won 

First, guest houses are so cheap that you can spend more money on food.
second, I've never had a chance to stay at the guesthouse so wanted to give it a try
gueshouse offers breakfast buffet.
bread, cereal, milk, coffee etc, well it's little bit hard to call it 'breakfast buffet' but, it's enough to fill your empty stomach.
overall we were all satisfied.

 WHAT TO DO?
Go to Hanok Village. You can see traditional Korean houses, and you can rent hanbok
and there are some places that you can see


● 경기전(Gyeong gi jeon) : it's a historic place where the portrait of Taejo Lee Seong-gye(the founder of Joseon Dynasty), was sealed.
 there is a small museum and park.good place to take pictures and look around!
 - entrance fee adult 3,000won

 ● 전동성당(Jeondong Church) :The church was built on the site of the Catholic martyr. 
It's a religious facility, but it's a place many tourists visit.

 WHAT TO EAT?

● Street food : Cup steak, beer, dumplings.. there are so many street foods 

 ● 야시장(Night market) : There is a night market across from the Hanok Village. It is only held on Fridays and Saturdays.

 ● 한정식(Hanjeongsik) : When you go to Hanok Village, you can not leave out the Hanjeongsik.
There are a lot of Hanjoengsik restaurants available, but popular places are need to make reservations.
