What did @papa-pepper send me???

First off I want to apologize because I'm a little late making this blog. The last few weeks have been real busy with the holidays and all. I held out because I was wanting to make a really good unboxing video because this package was a complete surprise. After a little over a week without any time or help I gave up trying to make a video and am just going to share these pictures instead.

Papa-Pepper even addressed the package to "Hippie With A Gun." I love it! This is awesome getting packages addressed to me like this HA HA. Of course only on Steemit would something like this happen. The addresses were blocked to protect our locations and privacy.

Now to open up my package...

OH BOY! A care package for my son Maverick!

A hand made rainbow beanie made by Pinkie-Pepper, and a copy of Papa-Pepper's new children's book, Armadillo Escape. Papa-Pepper even threw in a few of his trademark stickers too. YAY!!!

Hows it look on him?

I think it looks great on him. He looks just like me HA HA. A rainbow beanie for my little rainbow baby.

Maverick wouldn't keep the beanie on. Even as a newborn he never liked having anything on his head. He would pull off any hat or beanie we try putting on him. That made it very difficult to take these pictures. You'll notice in both pics he has his hand on the beanie because not a second later after taking these he pulled the beanie off his head HA HA.

It was I think a year ago now that Papa-Pepper said Pinkie-Pepper knitted this beanie for Maverick. I believe Pinkie-Pepper was getting the hang of knitting and crocheting and needed the practice so she knitted this for Maverick. However, life happened and due to our busy lives it took a year before it finally happened. I too was so busy last year that I even forgot about the rainbow beanie till last month when Papa-Pepper made that blog reminding me HA HA. Which worked out perfect because this ended up making a phenomenal Christmas present. So if you read that blog then you already knew I was getting the rainbow beanie.

I can't thank the Pepper Family enough for these gifts! Even more of a surprise was the fact that Papa-Pepper included a signed copy of his new children's book, Armadillo Escape. Papa-Pepper stars as Farmer Z in this cute little adventure featuring an armadillo. Which will make a great addition to Maverick's room on his book shelf next to all his other books we got him. This book however will remain in the family forever! I'd like to imagine one day Maverick reading this book to one of his kids in the future. And so on and so forth...
