RE: Nicaragua Crisis ~ An Encounter with the Health Clinic...

in #ulog6 years ago

I'm glad you have such a wonderful support group and what a harrowing tale you paint. I cringe at this real life saga and of want and medical deprivation. The doctor seems hardly equipt and desensitized to her patients. What cost is the visit? I am grateful for our doctors and clean hospitals. This is so dire in every respect. Thanks for sharing. I am unsure if I told you that my brother in law is an immigrant from Nicaragua. His father was in the government and murdered when he was a baby. His Mom & aunts immigrated when he was a young child to Florida.
Take care of yourself and I am praying. Resteemed.

Thank you for the resteem,@wandrnrose7. The hospitals and health clinics are run by the government. They are free to all. I could have gone to a private hospital but that would have meant travelling further into a hostile zone. He must have come sometime late 70's or early 80's. I have heard so many horror stories from those times but I think these times are getting to the point of crossing even that level of horror. I try my best to keep low but is getting more difficult when they come looking for you. Thank you for your prayers. we need all we can get.

You're welcome. It sounds like the government isn't doing much to fund the hospitals. Your situation seems so scary and prayers are the least that I can do. Hugs.

Thank you, @wandrnrose. I appreciate the hugs too!
