Ulog 009: Of Gratitude and Success

At the moment, I only have 30 minutes more 'til the Steem Summit first month anniversary is finally over. To be honest, I am tired. I was just about to call it a day until I realized that I am still nowhere near the life that I have imagined for myself. They say that success comes to those who know how to delay gratification, I dare say that success can also come to those who take the time to thank all those responsible for the good things going in one's life.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank @ybanezkim26 and @legendarryll not only for being great Steem Summit co-organizers, but also for the friendship that we have fostered. It will always have a special place in my mind (not heart, because you two are anti-touchy feely). Thank you for believing in me and for giving the other side of me a chance to come through.

I'd like to thank @jsmalila and @jan.lives for accepting my invitation to join the working committee of the Steem Summit. You guys heeded the Steemit call, reap your rewards and thrive!

To @anneporter, for being my catalyst and pole stage mother. You have jumpstarted my journey to becoming the woman I'd always wanted to be.

To @reewritesthings, @brokemancode, @xaydtrips, @themanualbot, @wandergirl, @babybear and @redspider, the event was up in one piece great thanks to you guys! Sticking safety pins to the ID cards, manning the technical booth, making sure that the exhibit items are properly spaced and aligned, contacting the food services - all really stressful yet were managed really well because of you.
