My Ulog Day #2 : I will cook Bottle Goured with Pork for Breakfast

Early morning, as I look at in our food storage, I saw 2 pieces of bottle gourd and thinking what healthy food I will cook for breakfast.

Cooking is a bit a lot of fun most especially when everyone in the family appreciated the food. I remember my niece when she first cook corned beef with eggs where she did not make it. There is always first time but, later on she knows how to cook. Now she can assist me int cooking.

Ingredients:

  • half piece of garlic
  • 2 pieces unions
  • 4 pieces of tomatoes
  • 1 piece cabbage
  • 2 pieces of bottle goured
  • 1/2 kilo chopped pork into small pieces
  • soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • small amount of catsup

Preparation:

  • Peel and wash the bottle goured
  • Cut into 4 - 5 times depending on how long
  • Slice into small length
  • Slice the unions and the garlic
  • Slice the tomatoes same size of bottle goured
  • Slice the cabbage
  • Prepare small amount of catsup
  • Prepare soy sauce and salt

Procedures in cooking.

  • Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Saute the onions and garlic.
  • Add the chopped pork until it become soft.
  • Continue to saute until the pork turns light to medium brown.
  • Add the slice tomatoes. Stir.
  • Put-in the sliced bottle goured. Toss and continue to saute for 7-9 minutes.
  • Transfer to a serving plate.
  • Serve hot.
