#Ulog no. 1 - The weekend that was! A summer blast from the island of Siquijor - fambam

Summer sun is fun and beach is one! Yes, I have always been a beach lover, a beach whore as some would say. I love the sound of the waves, the cool breeze in its air, the picturesque view of sunrise and sunset, the sand, everything is just LOVE! Indeed, my vitamin sea. ^_^

So, last weekend my cousins together with our friends went to the island of beautiful scenic beaches - Siquijor! We finally made it happened after planning for it and cancelling it a couple of times. Ha! At long last, we were able to put colors on the drawing. Lol!

Here are some of our pics from the trip:

We hired a vehicle for our tour in the island.

First stop - Balete tree. Entrance fee is just 10/head and you can have an unlimited fish spa for free! :)

Next! We headed to a place famous for the broomstick picture taking. A staff will take the shot with your phone in exchange of any amount as a donation. They also sell buko to quench your thirst @ 30 pesos/piece.

Stopped by Cambugahay falls. A 130 steps going down and back up. Whew! But it's definitely all worth it!

We went to the oldest catholic church of Siquijor after and had a quick picture taken by my cousin's 360 camera (he didn't forward a copy to me yet), which I still have to ask. Lol!

Last stop was the beautiful and famous resort of Salagdoong!

It was quite an adventure as we encountered unexpected delays, had to make changes on our itinerary and extended our stay for 1 more day as tickets were sold out due to the pour of tourists in the island (it's prolly because of Boracay being temporarily shut down? I don't really know! Hehe). But hey, it was still all fun! We did not let it ruin our beautiful portrait of summer. :)

Overall, we had a great, jam packed weekend that was full of adventures! Cheers to all beach bitches out there! Summer is here to stay...
