# Ulog 25: Visit The Largest Mall, and The Tallest Tower in the World
Hello Lovely people, Today Please allow me to take you to a walk to the largest mall in the world, and the Tallest Building in the world, Dubai mall and Burj Khalifa. They are adjacently located together. Even you are not a keen of shopping, there is much to do to entertain you free of charge.
Few days back, me and my husband @mr-neil would like to get Robbie (my son), his favourite book ”The Gruffalo”. He loves books! He even loves it more than playing with his toys.
As we enter the mall, We saw a Bookstore right away named "Kinokuniya". It's a large bookstore where you can find any sorts of books from fictions, children’s books, paintings, art and more.
And there we found our favourite book, ”The Gruffalo” by Julia Donaldson, the author. Yes, it became my favourite too, (I read it several times a day, so i knew it by heart : )
We got an original Gruffalo story so we got the follow up story which is ”The Gruffalo’s child”. Robbie was laughing when he saw the book, he was so entertained with all the books and colorful pictures.
We got three books in the end, all written by Julia Donaldson.
Moving forward, we are so pleased to see this Beautiful chandelier from a fancy Moroccan restaurant inside the mall. I can’t help to take photos of this colorful, grand chandelier’s hanging by the ceiling. It is inspired by traditional Arabesque design.
We also passed by a famous chocolate shop in UAE, Patchi Chocolate. An expensive chocolates but an ultimately scrumptious one, It has a unique distinct taste and sold per kilo. They gave us chocolate which is a free taste and is really lovely.
(They are wrapped elegantly in transparent wrappers)
I was very happy to strike a posed that seemed to be a Library of Chocolates. They are all beautifully arranged. Their elegant wrappers and bold colors makes me want to take them home :D
Another key spot of the Dubai mall is the largest Aquaruim and Underwater Zoo. It is the largest in the world. It contains about ten million - liter aquarium tank. It houses varied species of sea creatures like hundreds of sharks and sting rays. It can also be viewed free of charge from the mall through the World largest acrylic panel.
At the level 2 of the underwater zoo, you can find other creatures like crocodiles, piranhas, penguins, lizards, snakes, otters, and massive eels. In here, you can witness how predator animals can get their prey.
They also offer unique experiences with fees, like shark diving, cage snorkeling, and glass bottomed boat rides.
There is also a Permanent resident Dinosaur of the mall, named Dubai Dino, who flew all the way from USA.
Outside the Dubai mall, you can see adjacently the tallest Building in the world, ”Burj Khalifa”. Opened at 2010, It stands at 828 metres high. It consist of two observation deck, which is the highest observation deck in the world.
Just below the Tallest building of the world, entertain yourself with the "Dubai Dancing Fountain" show every 6pm at every 30 minutes onwards. You will admire the choreographed musical fountain which will serenade you from arabic and english music alternately.
This is the Burj Khalifa fantastic laser show. It will leave you mesmerise from the iconic tower in the world (Filmed by my husband @mr-neil).
You don’t need to spend fortune when coming to the largest mall in the world (Dubai mall). It’s a superb massive mall with lots you can see for free.
UAE (United Arab Emirates), is composed of seven emirates. It is one of the safest place to live in the world, with low crime rate and cosmopolitan city, UAE has a come a long way.
I hope you enjoy the journey with me. Thank you.
Oh, between the book store and the chocolate library, my family could spend hours there! The Gruffalo is one of my boys' favorite books! What a beautiful place! Thank you for sharing it. I think I would enjoy that tall building from a distance. Heights make me nervous. 😉
