ULOG Day8 Big sisters birthday celebration.

Wow, I really don't know how to express my gratitude to God for adding another year to Mona.
She is the first child of my parents, she has been a great source of joy and happiness to the family. She is one person that respects relationships and people's feelings. So yesterday being Wednesday was her birthday and I had a little break from school and I said by the grace of God I must be here to celebrate with my beautiful sister. Okay now here is the great part, her long time friend (kikelomo) whom is also her vest friend contacted me when I was in school and asked me if I could help her surprise my sister on her birthday (that was 3weeks before the main celebration) and I was sceptical about it because I school in the University of porthacourt and my family home is at Ebonyi state. Luckily enough for us all, my departmental week was fixed and it fell exactly on the week of the birthday ☺ I was supper excited. I took the work offer from her and told her I could do it, she sent me the money for a really nice cake and a present 🎁. I really couldn't help but wish I had a friend like that, that no matter the distance, I still remain in their hearts. I couldn't help but think about how lucky my sister is to have such an amazing friend. I got to work, bought all the items for the cake, I was so happy doing it. . I was really happy on how the cake turned out. Everyone was busy complimenting (this was on Tuesday). . I woke up on Wednesday morning by 5Am, got ready for my journey back home. I arrived the bus station by 8Am and the bus started the journey by 10Am, I was so tired and stressed out already cause I hadn't slept well last night and how to convey the cake back home without ruining the decorations and all of that,was worried that the butter icing may begin to melt. We arrived Ebonyi state by 3:00pm and my Dad was already waiting for me outside 😂,he was so happy seeing me and when I got upstairs he gave me a big hug and helped with my bag. We exchanged pleasantries and I went to the room to see my mum who was extremely happy to see me(i felt really special ☺). He already ordered a cake for her, so she had two birthday cakes I was then informed that big sis would be celebrating her birthday with her friends at work and I was needed at the venue to assist her entertain he guests. I had some snacks and yogurt to refreshing Me phhheeww! We arrived at the venue and no one was there,i really wasn't happy neither was big sis, she had to start calling everyone again and they actually thought the celebration was by 5pm and not 4pm. So about 30 minutes later and more people came than we planned for lolz. I was really excited and so was she. She had a great time and received gifts from her friends. The joy on her face was really priceless . Everyone was happy and so was I. We Came back home and told our parents how it went and discussed for a while,we prayed. My kid sister Grace was so very happy to see me. I haven't been home since the year started. I was extremely tired and worn out, I had some food and had my bath and slept for a while and woke up and decided to write a post ☺. God has been so very faithful to us and we are extremely grateful for everything He has been doing. I arrived home safely and the birthday was a success, what more could we ask for!Ohhhooo and yes, the decorations of the cake got really messed up from all the galloping and everything, but was still pretty.
