ULOG: #6 Week 17 - Teardrops For my Grandson and Daughter

I was awaken early this morning by my daughter. She called me saying my grandson was having runny nose and hard cough. A slight fever. She had a video call so I can see my grandson. He did look kind of under the weather. He was not his jolly self. I said it might be the growing upper teeth. He still smiled and danced a little when I sang "Baby Shark". So my daughter gave him some medicine for the slight fever.

OMG he vomited. I felt my heart ache for my daughter. Teardrops fell because she was panicky. I just told her to wash Baby Rico and bring him to the clinic.

It is so hard being a first time mom. I wish I was with her. I thought my sister-in-law would accompany her but I don't know why she didn't. She has no experience either because they do not have children.

He looks so tired but I am glad it was nothing serious. The doctor gave them a prescription for nasal spray. I took these screen shot of the video my daughter sent while they were waiting for their time. Her husband was at work. So She was able to go to work at 7:30pm.

It is so hard for a mother to watch her children in pain or sick, what more for a grandmother to see both her child and grandchild suffer. I wish I could be there for her but ll I can do is encourage her and pray for her.

He still has a runny nose and the cough was because of the mucous that went to his throat.

Now I can finish my cooking for tomorrow. I had already made my macaroni fruit salad and marinated my beef and chicken. Also finishing up the deco and my daughter's room.
