One Thing Philippines is an annual event where christians all over the city gathered together to honor the name of the Lord Jesus. This event does not talk about RELIGION nor denomination but your RELATIONSHIP to the Lord. Therefore, it has been participated by almost a thousand of young people for the past couple of years since it started to kick off last 2014.
This conference is a three day event where International Speakers from International House of Prayer or IHOP at Kansas City are invited. They tackled today's generation's issues like depression, pornography, social media addiction and among others. The general aim of this conference is to set apart a generation for Jesus where they effectively affect the community they live in. They are aspired to disciple young people pulling them away from worldly vices that may destroy their future.
Moreover, through this conference, it aims to ignite hope to these young people who have been screwed up with their personal struggles like having a broken family relationship, bullying and inaccessibilty to education.
That's we are truly honored, blessed and privilege to a part of this one amazing conference.
@yenguiao, our worship leader leads the opening day into worship. She is backed up by the whole orchestra as she sings a messianic song entitled Hatikvah the National Anthem of Israel.
Kearck, our drummer blowed the shofar, a horn of a ram signifying the promise of God and calling his presence to be with the people in this worship.
As the worship now started to reached its momentum, you will now see from all sides young people intimately crying out to God not just because of their struggles but also their gratefulness to the Godness that God has blessed them.
Not only where the people so into of the worship but even the music team. @jeany, our cellist is all out in expressing her love, worship and devotion to God. She is not just ashamed to express her heart to her true lover.
Ptr. Shawn Maragni, the Founder of One Thing Philippines warmly welcomed the participants to be expectant of God's presence to be with them in this three-day Conference.
Ptr. Rue Dela Torre, one of the speakers and crowd favorites because of his comical and lively gestures during preaching. He talks about how important your relationship to God in keeping you away from anything that corrupts your character and your future. It was indeed such a powerful preaching from him.
Right after the preaching, our team had a dance presentation entitled Deliver Us, a Jewish song depicting the lives of jews during their slavery from the Egyptians. Good thing that the Lord has indeed sent their deliverance through these Angels in Red.
Right after the dance presentation, we led again the worship with these passionate young people at sight.
Pastors laid their hands to these young people as they pray them over of their struggles and pains feeling on the inside. They were just all crying like a small child as if they were carried by the arms of God. Such a heart melting sight, right?
Young People all out in their expression of devotion and love to God. They remebered those times that Jesus have never forsaken them during those hard moments in their lives.
Ptr. Shawn gave his final message as he expressed himself warmly because of the overwhelming feeling he felt seeing young people renewed and empowered in this 3-day conference in the Lord.

For us, there is really no security as secured than having God in your life. Again it's not about religion but a relationship to God who gives peace in the inside that no amount treasure can ever suffy. You may be the richest person in the world and most popular but the at the end of the day, you will still feel that longing in the inside that only God can truly satisfy.
