Ulog #6 Piñahan Island at Dipolog City

One typical way of spending ones summer is by going to the beach and try lots of water sports and activities. This is to most of us neutralize our body temperature brought by the extreme heat of summer and make us feel cool and fresh from the breakth-taking views of these beaches.

As for me, I really thought that I will just end my summer season without doing the mainstream of going to the beach because of such busy schedules. However, the Lord is really good to me because He gave me an opportunity to unwind. And that is going to this Isolated Island at Dipolog called "Piñahan Island".

This is isolated because it is situated at the center of the interconnected island of Dapitan and Dipolog. People going there has to travel a small banca or pump boat just to be able to be there. It might sound a little scary ridding on this small boat but nothing we have to worry because the sea surface is very still. No huge waves going against you but the stillness of the water is the only feeling you can ever sense as you travel from their port going to this said island. Based from my time evaluation, it will take 10 minutes to be there.

Here are now a glimpse of our activities on this day:

The port of these small pumpboats going to the Island. We prepared our loading now but we have to do it extra careful because of the possibility of falling. Such a scary feeling right for those who doesn't know how to swim.

As the boat now starting to move, these are the beautiful sceneries we came across as we pursue the island. Definitely the feeling of rural setting overwhelmed by these mountainous view just relaxing and awestrucking.

The whole team together with our sponsor strike a post as we travel near to the highly-anticipated island.

After 10 minutes of boating, we now arrived to this island. Interestingly enough, it is just really small that pumpboats on that coast touch each other.

We now started to take off from boat with somehow our knees shaking because crystal clear water projects a deep sea level to where our boat is staying.

This is exactly what meets us the moment we finally entered to the entrance of the Island. This clear blue water is just truly mesmerizing and their set-up as a whole.

This is how their cottage looks like. You need to pay a thousand for this kind of cottage. And I tell you its all pretty much worthit because of its astounding and overlooking view.

I make sure that I never missed this chance to be taken a photo with this truly amazing background. Though I'm not really fond of photography, but I just couldn't help myself but be hooked in taking photos.

Before we left this beautiful place, we seal a monumental picture first saying that we were able to touchdown this one of a kind place. Also during this shot, the water is now starting to get low tide.

Though this place is far more beautiful compared to the other well-known beaches here in the Philippines like boracay, palawan and among others, still its just awestrucking to our part that in this hidden and not so well noted place in Dipolog, there is this beautiful paradise where we can freely and peacefully unwind and contemplate to ourselves. And Above all, I see it as a favor from God that I am able to be here despite hectic schedules. Truly God finds way for us.
