You Are More Than Your Fear | #ULog

Three hours is all I need,
To fall into deep sleep,
Four... Three... Two... One...
In my dreams I started to run.

As unpredictable dreams could be,
It started from unknown road and then on top of the tree,
I saw how the sun sets—such a beauty!
But the branch snapped—Blaaam!—how can I be so unlucky?

I stood up—surprised that I felt no sore,
Fell on these bed of wild flowers you’ll surely adore,
Though enthralled with its beauty—can’t ignore those buzzing bees,
Again and again, I was forced to flee.

I ran until I felt free from danger,
But I guess I was wrong, there infront of me was a stranger,
“What do you want?” I shouted so she can hear,
She moved closer and whispered, “You are more than your fear.”

The wind blew and the sky turned dark,
Taunted my heart with thunder and spark;
But thank you stranger—I knew better.
Just like always this too shall be over.

For the very first time, in so many months,
I woke up with a purpose, needs and wants

Truly, it takes time to find purpose. What we do now may not be what we must do but it is something that we want to do.
