ULOG#3 March Pride for LGBTQ+
Today is the very first time ever Event of Pride March in my neighbor town Biñan Laguna. Since the Pride March most often celebrate in part of Manila like Quezon City and Marikina. I was encouraged to join the Pride March in which its just 30mins away from my hometown.
I’m not feeling well this day but I was thinking that I don’t want to miss the chances to participate and witness this kind of Parade Event. I want to support my fellow brother and sister in regards their right and existence in our world.
We are in the modern world we already need to leave the exaggerated conservative world in which being an open-minded and acceptance is in need. We are all entitled to express our opinion but in a good way, as long as we express the thought not in a harsh way and hurting anyone.
I want to be part of the voice of LGBTQ+ right and in this kind of activity, this will be a good platform to be a voice and ask for space of understanding about LGBTQ+.
We have a free T-Shirt, bracelet, balloon, placard, ribbon, face paint, sun visor drinks, and sandwich. Thank you to all sponsors and people who support the rights we are fighting for.
The Month of June is the PRIDE month, this is how we should share and educate people in our modern world not to get mad, angry regards sexual identity, gender expression and sexual orientation.
Our voice is about giving us chances the equal right for jobs, anti-discrimination law, and respect.
Many people are very easy to judge; easy to hate LGBTQ+ because they have only a one-sided perception regards sexuality and caging their selves into religious beliefs.
God created us equally and whatever you think and based in Bible we respect that. But love, compassion, and respect is the most matter understanding the meaning of Humanity.
No one is perfect in this world but we are able to accept imperfection and live the way we want to be. Being honest to our self and life without any pretentious for who and what we are. Live happy the way we see our self and accept by other people without hurting them.
The life and journey of being LGBTQ+ are not easy as what you’ve thought, is not that simple dealing with judgment, discrimination and degrading us because we are not normally as straight people as commonly you see.
Our words, action, and mind is the way how we reflect in our society by an individual. We should not generalize people or be putting the general label for LGBTQ+ but letting our self-know the person for who he/she is deeper as a human.
Because at the end the day no matter how we are different from each other we are still equal with our mind, heart and we want LOVE and RESPECT.
Understanding, Respect, and Acceptance is a great key to see the positive side the LGBTQ+ is also a human who have the rights, to live, to love and equally enjoy LIFE.
